Expert alterations can transform your gown completely — from pretty to stunning! Our experienced seamstresses are ready to assist you!
When should you begin gown alterations?
We recommend starting your alterations as soon as your gown arrives. Plan for 3-4 fittings, with the last fitting 3-4 weeks before the wedding. Rush alterations can be accommodated depending upon seamstress availability at the time.
What is the average cost of bridal alterations?
Bridal alteration costs range from $200-$900 depending upon individual gowns and fit requirements. We will be happy to chat with you about any custom changes and pricing will be discussed accordingly.
What should you bring to fittings?
To all fittings, bring your shoes, undergarments and any other accessories you may want to wear on your wedding day. Please note: The height of your shoes is an important consideration with any alterations, as high heels can affect your posture, which affects the gown fit. Give yourself plenty of time to acquire the right undergarments that you’ll need based upon the cut of the gown. Please also be aware that nude undergarments are desirable since stark white or colors can show through some gown designs in photos using the flash.

How long are alterations appointments?
Each fitting is approximately one hour.
